BoardBox is a free board games app developed by LogicX Universe. It includes Tic Tac Toe, Connect Four, and Dots and Boxes. This Privacy Policy explains what information is handled by the app, why it is used, and what third-party services are involved.
By installing or using BoardBox, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
BoardBox stores a small amount of app data locally on your device using device storage. This local data is used only to make the app work smoothly.
BoardBox uses Google AdMob to display banner and interstitial ads. The app is currently configured to request non-personalized ads. Google and its advertising partners may still process information such as device identifiers, advertising ID, IP address, approximate location derived from IP address, device information, ad interactions, and diagnostic information for purposes such as ad delivery, frequency capping, measurement, fraud prevention, and compliance.
Where required by law or Google policy, BoardBox uses Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) to request your consent for ads and related data processing. Depending on your region and choices, ads may be non-personalized, limited, or not shown.
You can also manage advertising choices through your Android device settings, including resetting or deleting your advertising ID where supported by your device.
BoardBox uses Firebase Crashlytics to detect crashes, understand stability problems, and improve the app. Crash reports may include crash stack traces, app version, operating system version, device model, device state at the time of the crash, timestamps, and installation identifiers such as a Firebase installation ID or Crashlytics installation UUID.
Crashlytics reports are used for diagnostics and app improvement. They are processed by Google Firebase according to Google's Firebase terms and privacy practices.
The exact permissions in an Android build may include permissions required by the app itself and permissions automatically added by Google SDKs used for ads, crash reporting, and platform services. The main permissions are explained below.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not operate our own backend database for player profiles or gameplay history.
Data may be processed by Google services integrated into the app, including AdMob and Firebase Crashlytics, as described above. We may also disclose information if required by law, regulation, legal process, or enforceable government request.
BoardBox is intended for users aged 13 and over. The app does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, and it does not require account creation.

Local app preferences remain on your device until you clear app data or uninstall the app. Session gameplay scores are temporary and may be cleared when the app closes or the game resets.
Firebase Crashlytics data is retained by Google Firebase according to Firebase's retention practices. Google's Firebase privacy documentation states that Crashlytics crash stack traces, minidump data, and associated identifiers are retained for a limited period before deletion from live and backup systems.
We use reputable third-party services provided by Google for ads, consent, and crash reporting. Local app data is protected by Android's app sandbox and your device security settings. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure.
